A quick and simple keto kale smoothie recipe.
Kale is a top keto diet vegetable that has lots of great health benefits and weight loss properties. There are really hundreds of ways you can eat kale and it will always be super healthy and tasty.
Today I’m sharing with you the quickest and the simplest way to prepare a really delicious and nutritious keto kale smoothie. You can have it ready within minutes and there are only 3 ingredients in the basic version.
The keto kale smoothie is a low-calorie refreshing drink you can have as a side dish, a pre-workout meal a liquid snack.

Wash raw kale leaves. If you are using frozen kale, let it unfreeze at first.
Cut or chop kale into smaller pieces so that it's easier to blend them. Be careful with kale stems which are a bit thick and may mess with your blender.
Put kale leaves into a larger bowl.
Peel the grapefruit and split it into sections. Add them to the bowl with kale leaves.
Add a teaspoon of lemon juice or/and apple cider vinegar.
Blend all the ingredients until smooth.
This keto kale shake tastes best when it's cold. Feel free to add other ingredients for better taste (like liquid stevia, erythritol, berries or coconut milk). Add seeds if you want a more calorie and fat-dense meal. It also tastes great with some avocado. If you are on a weight loss program, count any extra ingredients towards your daily macros.
