April 20, 2018A super quick and easy keto smoked salmon salad recipe with ideal macros for a ketogenic diet. This keto salmon salad has only 5 g of carbs net (and they all come from keto-approved vegetables).
You probably know that a ketogenic diet is all about eating healthy and nutritious foods. The salmon salad I’m sharing with you today is one of those excellent keto meals. Not only is it very delicious but it is extremely simple to prepare (it will be ready within minutes).
The keto salmon salad is all made of only keto-approved ingredients. It has ideal keto macros (detailed macros are given at the bottom) so it will keep you full and satisfied for many hours. You can have it for breakfast, lunch, dinner or as a side dish.
Eating veggies (especially leafy green ones) is extremely important on a keto diet or any health-oriented eating program. The great news is that the keto smoked salmon salad will help you more easily meet your daily vegetable requirements.

Ingredients
- 140 g (4.9 oz)Â of smoked salmon
- 10 g (0.3 oz) of MCT oil
- 50 g (1.7 oz) of olives, which is about one handful. Both black and green olives are fine.
- 15 g (0.5 oz) of Brazilian nuts
- 100 g (3.5 oz)Â of fresh spinach leaves
- A few drops of lemon juice for better taste
- A few pinches of sea salt or Himalayan salt
Instructions
- Wash spinach leaves, dry them and place them into a salad bowl.
PRACTICAL TIP: Â If you buy spinach leaves (and other leafy green vegetables) at a supermarket, make sure to wash them properly. Make sure to read my guide on how to wash vegetables to remove pesticides from them.
- Add MCT oil and mix it up with spinach leaves.
PRACTICAL TIP: Feel free to use a different type of oil, such as, olive oil, avocado oil or flax seed oil. I recommend using MCT oil which will give you more energy, increase blood ketone levels and won’t be stored as fat.
- Add olives and Brazil nuts.
PRACTICAL TIP: You can soak Brazil nuts for a few hours before so that you get more nutrition from them. Feel free to use different types of nuts as well.
- Add salmon and your salad is ready!

Ingredients
- 140 g of smoked salmon
