A very quick recipe for simple keto breakfast. This is probably the simplest, healthiest and the most popular ketogenic breakfast in the world. Ready in 10 minutes and meat-free.
This is the very first recipe I’m placing here on ABC Keto, so this is a milestone for me. I’m starting sharing my delicious recipes with you from this simple keto breakfast idea: fried eggs with avocado and pickled vegetables.
Not only is this a very quick and easty recipe, but it’s totally keto-friendly and very healthy. If you don’t know where to start your keto diet or what to have for breakfast today, this is the recipe you’ve been looking for. This keto breakfast is meat-free so it will be OK for vegetarians as well.
Add the butter to the frying pan and wait until it dissolves. Be careful and don’t let it get burned.
Crack the eggs into a hot pan with the already dissolved butter on it.
Wait until egg whites have settled. You can cover the pan to speed up the process.
Make sure egg yolks stay raw. It’s quite easy to overlook that moment.
Finish once your eggs look like on the image below (whites have settled but yolks are still raw).
Peel your avocado and cut it into small pieces. If it’s not ripe (mine wasn’t), fry it on the pan for a few minutes.
In the meantime, take two medium-sized pickled cucumbers and a measure a glass of Sauerkraut.
Place fried avocado on your eggs and add salt for better taste.
Add your pickled vegetable salad to meet your veggie requirements and you are good to go.

Add the butter to the frying pan. Wait until it dissolves before you crack eggs on it.
Crack the eggs onto the frying pan once it heats up and the butter has dissolved (but didn't start to burn).
Wait until egg whites have settled. You can cover the pan to speed up the process.
Don't let yolks settle. You want them to be raw.
Take your scrambled eggs off the pan once they look something like on the image below (whites are settled but yolks are still raw).
Peel your avocado, cut it into small pieces and place it on the frying pan (with still some butter on it). Fry it for a few minutes until it becomes very soft.
Take two medium-sized pickled cucumbers and measure a glass of Sauerkraut. Of course, you can use more if you like.
Put fried avocado on your eggs and add some salt for better taste. You can also add pepper if you like or other seasoning.
Bon appetit!
